Analysis of the pooled dataset underpinning the IRST revealed that, whilst not reaching statistical significance, an expected trend towards increased rates of RSVH with lower wGA at birth (Table S2 ) was present; hence, arose the rationale for exploring whether wGA had the discriminatory power to be a substitute for chronological age in relation to the RSV season start date in a Colombian version of the IRST.
