marginally significantP = 0.06
There was a marginally significant validity/practice hours interaction, F (1,18) = 3.95, P = 0.06, η p 2 = 0.18, so that RT differences between valid and invalid trials decreased as hours of practice increased.

Attempting to decompose this interaction, visual inspection revealed a tendency for attentional disengagement to be more balanced among more experienced practitioners when comparing fearful and neutral conditions, but this interpretation should be taken with caution, given that follow-up statistics with attentional disengagement scores showed only a nonsignificant trend, which should be probed in future studies.
