NOCV analysis of the primary deformation densities (Δ ρ 1 , Δ ρ 2 , and Δ ρ 3 ) showed an increasing trend from Ag( i ) to Au( i ), with the sum Δ ρ 1 + Δ ρ 2 + Δ ρ 3 generally larger for electron-donating substituents, consistent with stronger overall ligand-to-metal σ-donation.
