We detected a significant increase in hotspot indel frequency with age in mouse brain and oocytes, in macaque skeletal muscle and liver, and a marginally significant increase in mouse skeletal muscle, but not in macaque oocytes and not in any human tissues ( Fig. 2 , Table S2 ).
