Therefore, the finding is highly significant at the 99% confidence level, confirming the existence of a clear spatial dependence in MetS incidence.MGWR results revealed spatial non-stationarity, with predominantly negative associations in northern and northeastern China (β ≈ -0.92 to -0.12), and neutral to positive associations in central-southern and coastal regions (β ≈ -0.12 to + 0.27), suggesting that climatic and pollution contexts jointly shaped the regional heterogeneity of MetS risk.
