In agreement with this finding, monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFAs) represented by palmitoleic acid (C16:1) and oleic acid (C18:1) were decreased upon tyrosine deprivation, whereas polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs), including linoleic acid (C18:2), arachidonic acid (C20:4) and adrenic acid (C22:4) showed an increasing trend (Supplementary Fig. 11i ).
