Compared with the HS group, broilers in the HP group showed a significant increase in the relative abundance of Bacteroidota ( p < 0.001) and a significant decrease in the relative abundance of Proteobacteria ( p < 0.0001), whereas the relative abundances of Firmicutes and Verrucomicrobiota showed an increasing trend, and Fusobacteriota showed a decreasing trend, although these changes were not statistically significant ( Figure 4 C).
