A study conducted in Maputo 19 , also in the pre-pandemic period (April 2019) and prior to the Declaration of a State of Emergency (March 2020) and trans-pandemic (May to June 2020), revealed an increasing trend in the number of cases of violence, with 83 cases reported in April 2019 and 169 cases in March 2020.
