Acute Mtln-KO mitochondria showed additional signs of ROS-induced membrane damage, with lipidomics data indicating a weak trend towards increases in monolysocardiolipin (MLCL 18:2_18:2_18:2, P < 0.2), and notably, follow-up auxiliary analyses revealed that MLCL/CL ratios are significantly increased by ∼20% in acute Mtln-cKO samples ( Figure 5 F , P = 0.015, representing the ‘top hit’, most significant P -value in this lipidomics dataset).
