Conclusions The promotion of biodiverse dike vegetation could be a small contribution, but a practical application in the implementation of ecological goals, such as reversing the decline in biodiversity in Germany and turning it into a positive trend, as the UN sustainability goals of the federal ministry for the environment, climate protection, nature conservation and nuclear safety (BMUKN) are aiming for.
