Clay and silt showed an interesting trend that both of them were predicted with relatively high accuracy in the upper layers (R 2 of 0.65–0.77), followed by a marked decline in the 40–60 cm interval (R 2 of 0.20–0.25) and a recovery in the deepest layer (R 2 of 0.46–0.75, Figure 5 d,e).
