In the univariate Cox regression analysis, while SMIdiff showed a statistical trend, RT intention, lymph node involvement, metastasis status, and TNM stage variables were observed to be dependent variables statistically significantly affecting survival (p values: 0.076, 0.019, 0.023, 0.01, 0.028, respectively) (Table 2 ).
