The main findings were as follows: (1) FBUT significantly increased and SPEED scores decreased consistently in both age groups; (2) improvements in LLT and meibum function (quality and expressibility) were relatively greater in the U group than in the O group, although the O group also showed a significant improvement in expressibility; (3) corneal and conjunctival staining score improved more prominently in the O group than in the U group, while a decreasing trend was also observed in the U group.
