In sensitivity analyses, the global Schoenfeld residual test indicated statistically significant departures from proportional hazards for childhood mental health conditions; however, the log–log survival curves were approximately parallel and did not cross, and the LOWESS-smoothed scaled Schoenfeld residuals fluctuated around zero with only a slight trend over age, suggesting no major violation of the proportional hazards assumption.
