A separate study by the same group compared DIEP flaps neurotized with T11 versus T12 donor nerves and again found no significant difference; however, patients in the T12 group had higher QoL scores with a trend toward significance and may be considered as the preferred choice for donor nerves based on these findings [ 50 ].
