Predictors were retained and interpreted as meaningful if (a) their mean standardized coefficient was ≥ 0.20 (i.e., at least a “minimal practically significant” effect) [ 71 – 73 ] and (b) they survived regularization in all of the imputed datasets, which is more stringent than existing guidelines [ 63 , 74 ].
