An interesting trend showing susceptibility of B. henselae to the drug combinations at the higher and lower doses indicates that there is significant variability; more replicates may be needed, and the optimal doses may be significantly different between to the two drugs which were combined. 4 Discussion In these experiments, the efficacy of monotherapy and combination antibiotic regimens was evaluated against extracellular Bartonella henselae .
