No SNVs in the MASP1 gene region were significantly associated with MASP-3 serum levels after multiple testing correction; however, two intronic SNVs in high LD were associated with higher MASP-3 levels with borderline significance (top hit rs78008995) ( figure 4C,D , analysis stratified for disease status is shown in online supplemental figure 3 ). rs78008995 did not have a strong effect on MAP-1 serum levels (p value unadjusted 0.085, adjusted p=1.0).
