Results Body Weight Development Analysis of body weight revealed a pronounced effect of prenatal VPA exposure on somatic development. A two-way ANOVA showed a large and highly significant main effect of Treatment ( F 1,62 = 54.84, p < 0.0001, η p 2 = 0.47), indicating that VPA significantly reduced offspring body weight across the postnatal period ( Figure A).
