Segmented regression analysis of annual publications against time identified two significant breakpoints (2003 and 2009, breakpoint test p < 0.001): Initial Exploration (2000–2003): Annual growth rate β = 0.02 (95% CI: -0.05–0.09, p = 0.58; no significant growth); Slow Fluctuation (2004–2009): Annual growth rate β = 0.45 (95% CI: 0.08–0.82, p = 0.03; moderate significant growth); Rapid Development (2010–2024): Annual growth rate β = 3.21 (95% CI: 2.87–3.55, p < 0.001; highly significant and rapid growth); Conclusion: Statistically significant differences existed in growth rates across the three phases (interaction term F = 47.2, df = 2, p < 0.001), confirming the “Rapid Development Phase” as a valid trend.
