The EQ5D-5L demonstrated better than chance accuracy across most subgroup analyses but failed to reach significance in the older (AUC = 0.59, 95%CI 0.47 to 0.71), female (AUC = 0.60, 95%CI 0.49 to 0.71) and lower income (AUC = 0.61, 95%CI 0.49 to 0.73) groups.
