Specifically, the north and north-east coasts of the island (called “Tramontana” and “Falconiera/Homo Morto”, respectively) present high vertical cliffs characterised by significant rockfalls, while the south coast (called “Mezzogiorno”), having no obvious cliffs (not as significant as the previous ones), is mainly characterised by the presence of numerous caves.
