The neovascularization score showed an increasing trend in the olive oil group (2.42 ± 0.53) compared to the M. spicata -treated group (2.28 ± 0.75) and the control group (1.86 ± 1.07), although this difference was not statistically significant (F = 0.929; p > 0.05).
