3 Despite an overall decline in gastric cancer incidence—largely attributed to widespread Helicobacter pylori eradication—SRCC cases have demonstrated an increasing trend. 4 In the present case, the patient presented with upper gastrointestinal bleeding, which led to the diagnosis of SRCC in the gastric cardia.
