When this analysis was broken down into line roughness in the direction (x-direction) and perpendicular (y-direction) to the filament, a visible trend emerges, despite the short measuring distances: in the GNP filaments, the line roughness (Ra) shows an increasing trend with increasing filler content when it is measured in the x-direction ( Figure 2 C).
