A similar pattern was observed between CHO intake and nocturnal MAGE (Figure 3 ), with a strong correlation that failed to reach significance demonstrated among REDs, and a significant positive correlation among controls (REDs r = −0.592, p = 0.09, vs. control r = 0.787, p = 0.01, 95% CI 0.26–0.95). 4 Discussion This is the first study to determine CGM‐derived 24 h, diurnal and nocturnal glucose variability in athletes clinically diagnosed with REDs.
