During the study period, the utilization rate of mDST among RR-TB patients in Guizhou Province showed an increasing trend, reflecting the overall investment in strengthening laboratory capacity within the province, in response to the policy foundation established by China’s national 13th Five-Year Plan, which prioritized the deployment of molecular diagnostic technologies at municipal- and county-level healthcare institutions [ 19 , 20 ].
