A highly significant difference was noted between the patient groups: the BME group exhibited a median RtcPLT of 2.28% (95% CI: 1.95%–2.59%), indicating suppressed thrombopoiesis, which was markedly lower than the PE group at 8.27% (95% CI: 7.01%–8.82%, p < 0.001, Figure 2A ).
