Across all TCGA breast cancer cases, enrichment of the murine AGED signature showed a nonsignificant trend toward shorter PFS (HR = 1.3, 95% CI = 0.9–1.8; p = 0.17; n = 1109) (Fig. 7C ), that became significantly associated with worse PFS among women age ≥65 years at breast cancer diagnosis (HR = 1.9, 95% CI = 1.0–3.6; p = 0.036; n = 323) (Fig. 7D ).
