A decreasing trend was observed from plasma control to serum control in the ∆ H 2 /∆ H 1 enthalpy change ratio (Figure 5G ), while the ∆ H 2 /∆ H 3 , ∆ H 2 /∆ H 4 , and ∆ H 2 /∆ H 5 ratios differed ( p < .05) across the examined plasma samples (Figure 5H–J ). 4 DISCUSSION The objectives of this study were twofold: ( i ) to evaluate the stability of dried plasma for remote damage control resuscitation following exposure to the harsh Arctic environment, and ( ii ) to assess the feasibility and logistical challenges of its deployment during Arctic operations.
