The results show that with the increase of moisture content, the stress concentration area of the surrounding rock gradually shifts to the depth, and the extreme value of the principal stress difference increases significantly, resulting in the aggravation of the risk of roadway deformation and instability, and the proximity of the top and bottom slab in the middle of the roadway also shows an increasing trend.
