A comprehensive patient-level meta-analysis of three randomized controlled trials demonstrated that lenalidomide maintenance therapy following auto-HSCT in newly diagnosed multiple myeloma not only significantly prolonged progression-free survival but also conferred a clinically meaningful overall survival benefit, reducing the risk of death by 25% compared to placebo or observation, with a favorable trend also observed in earlier analyses ( 30 ).
