However, regarding physicochemical variables, a statistically significant association was observed between the presence of the bacterium and higher concentrations of dissolved Oxygen ( p = 0.005), and marginally significant associations were observed with lower temperatures and the presence of stray dogs in the proximity of the water body ( Table 2 ).
