As shown in prior research on EMS continuing education, this study suggests that initial EMS education during the pandemic had an increasing trend in the use of online education/distributed learning. 21 In addition, this study identifies the importance of programs needing to preplan by having established professional networks and contingencies to shift educational delivery methods if necessitated by an emerging crisis.
