The reaction time (C) has a substantial effect on the response, although the EtOH/WCO ratio (B) does not. Significant interactions were found between A and B and between BC, implying that the combined impact of these variables should be evaluated. Quadratic effects for A and C (A 2 and C 2 ) are highly significant, demonstrating the curvature in the response surface for these components.
