3 The burden of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) in China has exhibited an increasing trend over time, with a rate of increase surpassing the global average. 4 In 2022, the number of new cases of uterine corpus cancer in China was 50,100, while that of ovarian cancer was 39,100. 5 The age-standardized incidence and prevalence of endometriosis in China have remained consistently higher than the global averages over the long term. 6 In addition, studies have shown that the burden of gynecological diseases has increased alongside delayed childbearing, population aging, and lifestyle transitions, posing substantial challenges to women’s reproductive health and healthcare systems.
