To address the overwhelming presence of negative symptoms, cariprazine was the most frequently prescribed antipsychotic, particularly in combination therapy (80.6% at admission, 83.4% at discharge), with an increasing trend in monotherapy use (6.9 to 11.4%) ( Figure 4 ).
