Species type had a highly significant effect on AK release ( p < 0.0001), but adding AmB did not ( p = 0.14), and there was no significant interaction between these factors ( p = 0.069). Šidák’s post hoc analysis confirmed that C. albicans released significantly more AK than C. glabrata in response to both LIPUS alone ( p = 0.02) and LIPUS combined with 1⁄4 MIC AmB ( p = 0.0003).
