With respect to the smoking status relationship with EGFR mutation incidence, it was found that nonsmoking patients were more likely to be with tumors that harbor an activating EGFR mutation (57/81, 70.37%) than smokers (24/81, 29.63%) (57 vs 24, P < 0.000 (highly significant)).
