Overall, higher intake of NSSB was associated with an increased risk of T2D in all multivariable-adjusted models (IRR high vs low, model 3 : 2.26; 95% CI: 1.14, 4.46), showing also a positive trend across consumption categories (p-trend model 3 : 0.019).
