Patients with a history of surgery for endometriosis ( n = 94 cases + 94 controls) showed particularly strong associations for adenomyosis (aOR 14.4, 95%CI 3.2–65.3) and fibroids (aOR 6.6, 95%CI 1.7–25.2), while the association with polyps was borderline significant (aOR 3.1, 95%CI 1.0–9.8).
