Melanoma incidence in males increased modestly pre-COVID (0.9% [95% CI: 0.0% to 1.8%] per year), dropped sharply during the pandemic (change: −18.1% [95% CI: −23.7% to −12.6%] in 2020, −13.0% [95% CI: −20.1% to −6.0%] in 2021), and then showed not yet significant increases, showing a rebound above expected levels.
