Collectively, the findings confirmed all five hypotheses: (1) SUD alone showed significant cross‐study convergences; (2) BA alone showed significant cross‐study convergences; (3) SUD alone and BA alone alteration patterns showed significant overlap and conjunction (minimal); (4) SUD + BA jointly exhibited highly significant interaction effects, with many jointly formed clusters and foci; and (5) both SUD and BA alone and jointly exhibited predominant (but not exclusive) reward‐system involvement.
