Although amikacin and teicoplanin use were found to be highly significant in the univariable analysis ( P < .001), in the multivariable model, after adjusting for risk factors and other confounders, the association between amikacin and teicoplanin with the primary outcome attenuated showing only borderline significance ( P = .04 and P = .04, respectively).
