4 Discussion The present study indicates that the Tri-Phol-That extract possesses highly significant antipyretic activities in mice with turpentine-induced pyrexia, as indicated by the reduction of rectal temperature in a dose-dependent manner, which had a maximum effect in the doses of 100–200 mg/kg of the extract.
