Introduction Pyrazolones represent an important class of N-containing heterocycles that are ubiquitously distributed in biological systems and exhibit diverse physiological and pharmacological activities, rendering them highly significant for scientific investigation. 1 In particular, 2-pyrazolin-5-ones, as an important type of pyrazolones, have potent biological activities, including neuroprotection, antitumor effects, and pancreatic lipase inhibition 2 (see Scheme 1A ).
