Given that these patients exhibited the most pronounced alterations in PCSK9 and sLDLR levels, the correlation of the PCSK9/sLDLR ratio with the presence of ≥ 5-cm metastases was also examined, revealing a highly significant correlation ( r = 0.4527, P = 0.0006), and difference of this ratio between patients without and with ≥ 5-cm metastases (3.21 ± 1.41 vs . 1.68 ± 0.62, P = 0.0006, Fig. 2 D).
