However, when testing the pre-post change in stance slopes within each political orientation, we found no reliable shift: left-leaning outlets showed no change (Δβ = 0.01, SE = 0.03, p = 0.85), and right-leaning outlets showed only a marginal trend of rising support (Δβ = 0.09, SE = 0.03, p = 0.05) that did not survive Holm–Bonferroni correction.
