A robust association between higher CMI and risk of CVD was confirmed by Cox regression.When complete adjustment was applied using Model 3, participants in Q3 and Q4 demonstrated HRs of 1.31 (95% CI: 1.11–1.55) and 1.27 (95% CI: 1.06–1.51) compared to Q1, and a notable trend across quartiles was observed (P for trend = 0.009, Table 4 ).
