Regarding the distribution and association of resistant patterns according to the anatomical site of infection among HSCT patients ( Table 6 ), it was found that significant associations were observed with the distribution for MRSA varying significantly across infection sites ( p = 0.007), and highly significant association noted in the distribution of multidrug-resistant organisms Acinetobacter baumannii ( p < 0.001) and extended-spectrum beta-lactamase (ESBL) production ( p < 0.001) across various sites.
